Heading to the 2013 NPC Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Hope to see some of you there.

Schedule

Thursday, November 21, 2013 -Weigh-ins and Check-ins for ALL athletes will take place on a “ROLLING” basis from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. ONLY THERE ARE NO WEIGH-INS OR CHECK-INS ON FRIDAY – ALL ATHLETES MUST CHECK/WEIGH-IN ON THURSDAY ONLY!

Friday, Nov 22, 2013 - Prejudging begins at 1pm with Men's Bodybuilding, then Women's Physique, then Bikini

Saturday, Nov 23, 2013 - Prejudging begins at 9am with Womens Bodybuilding, then Mens Physique, then Figure.

Saturday, Nov 23, 2013 - Finals starts at 5pm

The 2013 Bodybuilding.com NPC National Bodybuilding, Figure, Bikini and Physique Championships, are being held November 22-23 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The host hotel is the Hyatt Regency Pier 66, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Top 2 Place Class Winners in Men’s Bodybuilding will be eligible for IFBB Pro status.

The 1st Place Class Winners in Women’s Bodybuilding will be eligible for IFBB Pro status.

The first 2 winners in the each of the 6 height classes in the Women's Figure and Bikini divisions will be eligible for IFBB Pro status.

The first 2 in each Height class in both Men’s & Women’s Physique divisions will be eligible for IFBB professional status.

I am not going this year because of the mens physique contest people that dont train legs but want a trophy. The women are ok I'll accept the bikini stuff etc.

The IFBB World Championships is for IFBB Amateurs around the world. The NPC Nationals are just for US citizens.

NPC Nationals should be held 1 month before the IFBB Mens World like 1980s.

In no contest ever should the top "two" be awarded pro cards.

It should be the WINNER. And in my opinion the not the class winner but the overall winner.

Getting a pro card is still special but it's not as "elite" of an honor as it once was.

I agree some what but keep in mind it is relative to the numbers, back then one pro card maybe 50 male bodybuilders and now 200 + and the qualifications are derived frokm way more shows and the numbers at they shows are enormous in comparison to the past.

As they say, only in America, the last Ifbb World (Classic bb) for 2013 was 2 days ago

I live 20 minutes west of Of Ft. Laud. Used always go to the Nationals anytime it was in S. FL. Can't go! The only reason I would have interest in going is to meet and talk to Ron! This year looks like a very weak Nationals!

ya but the nationals yields nearly 1000 qualified competitors, thats why 2 pro cards.

Mens physique would be a great category if they took away those stupid shorts. The quads should be judged, as well as the hammies. I'm not saying they need a thong like bodybuilding but they need something shorter. They are missing out on a significant part of the physique.

Every other category judges the whole physique.

Whoever decided on board shorts for that category is an idiot.

World/International standard is far ahead
