Maybe if trayvon hadn't have made an effort to dress and look extremely shady he wouldn't have been seen as suspicious in the first place...not to mention the fact that the neighborhood had recently has a string of break ins and robberies by 'youths' looking exactly like trayvon. So I dont know where you make the leap from "he wasn't acting as neighborhood watch" to "it was suddenly illegal".
