For what?

In place of soy whether you want to use it for vegetarian purposes, protein purposes, estrogenic purposes, etc.

Okay, why do you think that? That's not a challenge, by the way; I'm curious what people think of soy.
IMO, soy's biggest detriment is that it is among the top GMO/engineered crops. I think it's estrogen effect on men is more than a little exaggerated.

I don't advocate any form of soy for the majority of protein intake for anyone, but I feel that it has fallen into that category of foods that are inaccurately assigned blanket statements of negativity.

Decent protein? Will it make me grow breasts? Nutritious?

???

Not to make it my main source, but are soy based food sources "okay" or should they be avoided?

Yes, not concerned about GMO because any soy products I eat are organic.

I got some organic vegi burgers on sale that have lots of soy. I like the taste of them. Should I eat them?

I don't rate soy for supporting anabolism since it is not a complete protein; as with most plant-based proteins, soy lacks specific amino acids that carnivorous food sources possess.

It is certainly estrogenic in certain amounts. Personally, I believe the degree to which one is affected in this capacity is influenced by individual biochemistry (your own body's unique response), and the amount of soy consumed. Having a glass of soy milk per day will probably yield a negligible effect on most guys. Having a glass with every meal is a gray area. Relying on soy as your only protein source is the pinnacle of idiocy.

None of the supplement companies are running soy.

I just came across a study which stated that soy isoflavones inhibit creatine absorption by the body.

Since over 90% of soy grown in the US is a GMO, it's reason enough to avoid it.  :-X
