i hate modern gym's people but i also dislike the grunting macho and hairy sweaty fat people from the hardcore oldskool gyms. i rather have the least people as possible surrounding myself i think.
It s called a home gym. You guys want the atention of people looking at you, deal with it.

damn fine gyms gentlemen.  damn fine.
the ymca in down town dayton is where i train.
they bitched at me for using chalk and said can't you see the sign "no chalk"
thing was it was placed on the walls at eye level for the clown in the wheel chair
that put them there.  and said clown had the gall to claim I couldn't read.
typical christian organization.  typical christian in a wheelchair whose god
evidently refuses to regrow his legs.  bible tracs everywhere but I shall endure.

No shit I'm also in Dayton. Have you been to Pacificos?

Um I'm currently rowing the 120s. You should try some rowing movements because I've seen swimmers with bigger backs than yours. Also try working out something other than your arms because your chest, back and legs are small. Quite sad considering all the years you've used AAS and gh with your acne scarred dog faced gh fat fold ridden face. So sad.

But thank you for your concern you meth head. Hope his helps. And don't go deleting all your posts again for the 4th time since I've called you out on your secret fat loss method...you meth junkie.
hey semen eater, concerning your alleged depression...

why dont you simply off yourself 8)

i dunno i love modern gyms. i'll take a well equipped, well lit, clean 20k plus sq/ft facility over a cramped dark dungeon any day. know how much great equipment is being manufactured these days? its fricking awesome.

plus more and more chicks are training more seriously and its fun to watch. i just like the atmosphere. i feel like training when i walk into a gym like that.

a facility doesnt make you big or hardcore. if you need that image, then you need to up the dose son cause you aint there yet.

The problem isnt the gym it's the people. And you cant control the people. BTW I'm sure most of you clowns would be a pain in the ass to see in the gym too.

yah fuck that old school stuff, unwashed half mongoloid with acne, bladf head trying to look "scary" walking with ils as if they conquered the planet.

best if those fat fucks stay in their "hardcore" basements haha.

i prefer the half way social modern gyms, theyre clean, everyone, EVERYONE can train there intensive enough dont give me that bullfuckshit about the dumbells too small, what the fuck dumbel too small.

modern gyms are clean, have hot women in them, nice on the eyes, and have jacuzi for fre, no need to run for the protein shake after training.

haha oldschool fatsos, if they werent so fat and looked decent theyd be walking in the busiest gyms with the spagetti tank tops

the dumbells not heavy enough. oh brother.

what you gonna do with dumbells?squat?

chalk? chalk?really?

why not use the bare hands instead ::)

Fact..DB's and BB's get you bigger than machines. Commercial gyms are the pussification of bodybuilding. If you're in a gym to train then it shouldn't make any difference. If you're looking a "fluff and fold" (as what most commercial gyms are) type "fitness center" to workout and not train and worried about getting a little sweat on your shirt, then the commercial gym is for you (or anyone else who wants this type).

I would choose a metro-flex-type gym than a LA Fitness, Golds, 24hr fitness for bodybuilding purposes any day without hesitation. I would love to visit metro-flex in Arlington one day.

Vince, stop with your machine BS. All of the years training and you still can't get it right.

Exactly...and he wonders why he's never gotten blue stars around here.  I started training back at a gym a few days a week and while I use a couple of machines, I still count on free weights.

Coach learned from the top strength and conditioning coaches in the world. The guys that need to produce results for the big business of sports. Your DOMS theories (bullshit), suggestion of Hack squats for bad knees (dangerous) , and machines over free weights prove to anyone in the know that you don't know much. You're just another broscience bodybuilder. Isolation and not working stabilizers lead to more injuries Vince. It is not rocket science.

You clearly know nothing.  Google "activation of high threshold motor units" and learn a bit of science.  Everyone has different training theories and that's cool, but your statement is asinine in the extreme.

The problem I have with many modern gyms is how they are organized. They try to stuff as much equipment together as possible leaving a small area of free weights in the corner. During peak hours, it feels like a crowded grocery store in there.

I usually leave the pin in the second to the last plate on the bottom of the stack were it gets stuck.
