Who wants to be a fat ass lineman on the edge of death when the QB and running backs get the glory they can just stay in the locker room.

I'm an LSU fan, I'm glad they won but Manziel is a great college QB. You can't predict whats going to happen when gets to the NFL. He still has time to develop even more.

the best NFL QBs are the hardest workers with the best character - and most are tall and accurate.  Manziel has the "IT" factor - he definitely can throw.  But he's happier to get drunk and attend parties than to spend time in the film room.  You can get away with that in college, BUT he will need to grow up fast to be a solid pro.  Dudes like Manning and Brady were ALREADY spending 24/7 in the film room when they were 18,19,20 years old in college.  It'll be tough for manziel to just suddenly become a film bookworm once drafted.  You either thirst for that, or you don't.

I see him being the Bucs or Cowboys QB... right attitude and all that.  He WILL get a shot to be a starter.  But unless he completely changes who he is... which can be hard at 22,23... you know who you are at that point... he's too short.   Brees works at 6 foot even, cause he's a worker like nobody else not named Peyton.

If manziel lives in the film room, he can be a good pro.  Will that happen?

sounds like NFL scouts who have made a career of spotting talent should come to getbig for advices on draftable players.

You don't have to be an expert to predict this one.  It has happened over and over again.  This kid doesn't have a pro's body and he doesn't run a pro system.  When he plays against the big boys in the NFL he's gonna be dunzo.

So he lit up Bama, which is stocked with NFL talent, and the football gurus of getbig are ready to write him off?  ::)

He is as good as RG III at this stage of his career. Guve him a couple more seasons and then we will see.

NO. RGlll Always had the ability to throw from the pocket if need be and is a lot faster than Manziel.

So you think he's closer to Tebow than RGIII?  That was what was said.  And he is FAR closer to RG than Tebow. Isnt even room for debate.

As horrible as LSU is being coached this year, again, they put the hammer on him.

LSU 34  A&M 10

He doesn't look so good when a team has athletes on the corners (OLBs, SS/FSs, and DBs) that can contain and run with him, and the NFL is full of felons who can run.

Dude ain't ready.

 8)
REALLY???? HE LOOKED PRETTY DAMN GOOD AGAINST ALABAMA.....DIDN'T WIN THIS YEAR....BUT HE DID LAST YEAR. EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDN'T WIN THIS YEAR.....HE PLAYED AN AWESOME GAME......ALSO TOOK A BIG HIT AGAINST OLE MISS.....DUDE IS A BALLER FOR SURE......WOULD BE A GREAT RECEIVER/RETURN MAN IN THE NFL......IMHO.

On his 40-yard dash time:
I’m not sure. I have not run a 40 probably in a year and a half or so. But I think I could run around a… I couldn’t run anything like what [Ryan] Swope ran [at the NFL Combine], but I would hope around a 4.5. Somewhere in there would be nice.

Not only that... but look at the way he acts on the field.  Try this shit in the NFL, see what happens...

And you're right... he really is a tiny little dude.  He's great in college but will get crushed in the pros.  He's barely 6 foot, he's skinny.  RG3 is a world class athlete... this guy is 3 inches shorter, and 25 pounds lighter.

most A&M student accounts have him at 5 foot 11 in basketball shoes.

I bet he's under 6 foot even when the scouts measure barefoot.

Not even in Kiper's top 10 of QBs... poor height, poor off-field, poor mechanics, he won't be 1st round.  And yeah, Skip loves tebow and still thinks he can be a starter, and he can't throw for shit.

Should stay in college...lot's of QB's coming out this year and he could get lost in the shuffle.

...stay in and be the stud coming out next year.

Leave it to getbig.  I said nothing about their builds, I am talking about playing styles.  Manz just runs around to extend plays, just like RG III did.  Not as fast, but he's more elusive in the pocket.   Nothing like Tebow.
That was the comparison.  Both are skinny bitches who got/will get crumpled in the NFL.
