Thus far to date, I've never had any health test that wasn't in the optimal range. So now I sort of have a fetish for keeping it that way. It's sort of the same reason why I don't make love to a woman in the ass - in part because I don't want to, but also in part to sort of keep a streak going.

My health results didn't change going from 170-lb to 200-lb...although I'm sure I'm slower now, and perhaps my heart is more taxed than it was when I was lighter.

That said, if John Goodman could literally "bulk up" to over 400-lb again for the movie 10 Cloverfield Lane [!] at age 62 [true story - he brought his weight up to over 400-lb to look recognizable as himself for the movie], then I probably shouldn't worry about being over 200.

^ Sheesh...I can't believe he's almost 72. Dead by 80!

Although to be honest, I'm satisfied with a sub-200-lb body weight. It does make it harder to keep my lifts up...but I don't have body dysmorphia or anything. I think it's fine to be small.

Although you are correct that I am afraid of causing myself health problems, and that has directly impacted my progress [by not eating enough].

But I always thought - you never know if you could be that one guy who ends up getting a heart attack young because of genetics! You know?

Honestly I am not plagued by such fears. It sounds like hyperchondria to me. So you don't like making love to a girl in the back door, but how does it correlate to your health fears? Explain please.

Knew Greg. He was an acquaintance.

Ate meals with him and such.

Lots of misinformation in this thread.

The man, though, WAS enormous. Like, difficult to believe enormous.

His shoes were always entirely mashed-looking because of the extreme weight.

On one particular evening him, Nasser and myself went to a restaurant. The manager had to find a log bench for Greg. When he had sat on a regular chair he barely returned standing before it broke beneath him.

El Sonbaty was around 320 and was dwarfed by Kovacs.

Did he say anything about his dosages and what he used?

No. Didn’t ask.

But he was always quite transparent in a general way that he used lots of different shit and LOTS of it.

There is nothing quite like a fortress post setting the record straight on historical figures in bb
It all reads so very definitive, reassuring as well as satisfying.

He had a horrible physique for all that weight - Elephants are huge also yet bodybuilders they do not make.

Let alone all his bullshit strength claims, never did powerlifting contest.
Hell he may of been suited better to Strong man comps.

Perhaps originally, although I believe he disavowed this and now identifies as Norse - if I had to guess, one of the people of the Æsir (warrior gods)  ;D

I never met Greg, but I hung out with Ruhl and Dillett and know how insane they looked. So based on some pics / videos that I have seen with Greg and those cats - he must have been retarded huge!!
Most people that have never seen a huge pro in person, really can’t comprehend just how large they are.

Met Greg at the Arnold years ago. He was sitting because he got tired of standing.  You had to sir beside him to hmget your pic with him. I was 250 or so and I looked like a child sitting beside him.

Remember Greg Zulak constantly writing about him and his “farm boy diet” in Musclemag?

Haha yeah. MuscleMag. What was that column called Greg Zulak unchained or uncensored? That was always my first read when I would get the magazine.

I remember him writing about a pro that would inject an entire bottle of test suspension.

Wow that brought back memories - might be deja vu but I'm sure I asked on here if anyone knew what happened to Zulak

The other 'gossip' column I remember was that Steve Neece fella - looked like the "I'd buy that for a dollar!" dude from RoboCop - anyone know what happened to him?

There’s early pics of him and he didn’t look all that bad, from what I recall. I watched the Arnold or Olympia in college one time and he walked off stage before it was over, knowing how shitty he looked.

I saw Greg at the Mr Olympia ( New York/ Madison square garden… first year Ronnie won) just insanely ridiculously huge! ( walking around with a shaved head … just drawing a crowd every time he stopped!) ….

Steve was a nice fella.

One day he was browsing the magazine rack in a store, started into a brutal heart attack, began to pound his chest, loudly saying, No! No! No!, then fell over, dead.

And that was that.

Actually no lol. He did sell pictures but u didn't have to buy one to get your pic with him. He seemed like a nice guy. Lou on the other hand would not take a pic with me without buying one from him first...true story.  Nobody was around Lou either 😆
