I dont know about whores, but the line "Never trust a man who doesn't drink" is from a 'James Crumley' novel.

The Last Good Kiss (1978)
"Son, never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

I believe it was the great Bob Chick who quoted "I've never even taken a sip of alcohol"...I believe after he stated those words on the interwebz, BSN called him and asked him to promote their snake oil...

... Alcohol wins  ;D

What's you favorite drink these days? I've been laying off the beer lately, trying to lose a chin or two  ;D.

In moderation alcohol is super beneficial. Nature's way to give us a channel to relax and open our minds. My rule has always been to never abuse so it'll never be a "problem". Why play with fire?

Well adjusted, happy people drink with their friends.

I prefer sparkling wine (Champagne, Cava, Prosecco) and beer. Love Erdinger wheat beer :). A single malt whiskey is ok too.

Why view it as a battle? Embrace it.

Good for you chief. Wish I could smoke sometimes. Makes me too paranoid and anxious. Go figure.

Same here.  Weed freaks me the fuck out.  Hate it.

Probably have a drink only 3 or 4 times a year. Used to more often but wor lasses miserable face gets on my nerves and we always argue so now only drink with friends, i firmly believe good company makes getting drunk loads better.

Stick to vodka with red bull these days, lager just bloats you and makes you feel like shit.

I wonder why this happens to some people and not others.  Shared a joint with my brother in-law and he started to become paranoid.

Agreed and it's acceptable to drink a fruity beer if the alcohol % is above 9%.

Scotch is my prefered drink in the winter months.  Nothing like unwinding with a scotch on a cold winter night next to the fire place.

It's what I like to call my thinking drink.  To enjoy scotch you must drink it slowly.  I know I'm putting to much thought into it.

I happens to me also...I believe it happens with people who may be considered to have an eccentric mind...ADHD, OCD's and shit like that...

bourbon 3x a week (Mon - Wed are most stressful) usually right when I get home (wife makes me one to distress  ;D)

On weekends I usually have another after dinner with an expensive cigar.

I often switch off the bourbon to red wine especially when training hard but I have to limit to one glass WITH dinner. For some reason I noticed my gluten intolerance isn't as severe when I hit up red wine with the meal. Overall better digestion in fact even with gluten free / protein heavy meals

Same here.  Weed freaks me the fuck out.  Hate it.

Weed as a drug has a biphasic response pattern, along with reverse tolerance.

Also, it's very strain specific dude.

Biphasic means that a low dose of THC/CBD will increase serotonin improving mood, anxiety etc, high doses drop it dramatically, you then get to see what it's like to live with OCD and freak out. The problem is that until you get a good tolerance the line between good and bad is razor thin and it's all to easy to get paranoid.

I am high right now.
