I always prefered weed over alcohol but nowadays I don't really smoke that much anymore.. maybe a couple of times per month.. but had fun times with that stuff for sure

Smoking weed on 4 different continents (Africa, Asia, Europe & Australia) :

On a serious note, I bought a handle of Tito's vodka tonight. Made in Texas, so you know it's good.

Vodka from Texas.  Almost an oxymoron.

Looks cool :o

I'm careful about cool looking drinks.  Seems like the more time someone spent on label & bottle design and advertising, the less they spent on what's in the bottle.  Wine and spirits especially.

I miss the US microbrews tho.  I remember when Fat Tire and Red Hook were new, and they did some label design but were great beers (Red Hook got bought by Bud and went to hell overnight  :().  I guess scale of production would be the prime cautionary factor for stuff they want to make jump off the shelf with nifty design.

... Alcohol wins  ;D

What's you favorite drink these days? I've been laying off the beer lately, trying to lose a chin or two  ;D.

In moderation alcohol is super beneficial. Nature's way to give us a channel to relax and open our minds. My rule has always been to never abuse so it'll never be a "problem". Why play with fire?

been drunk for the last 2 years almost everyday while I was in exile in the north, as the only thing people do over there is get drunk

won't be drinking anymore, maybe once or twice a year

made me fucked up, depressed and agressive

don't need that in my life

I'm thinking about picking up drinking as a hobby.

hmmm lately after work Ive been hitting up the neighboring bars by the place I bounce(new job) at with a coworker. Gotta say it feels good to kick back a few brews and have a shot or two after a hard day of work.

Never been much of a drinker but I think I like it.

That's how it starts  ;D

kidding... like Adam Carolla says, "I enjoy too much to abuse it and make it become a 'problem'." I think it's a smart approach:

Rules of thumb:
- Never drink alone
- Never drink while doing shit around the house
- Avoid drinking in front of the kids
- Never drink before noon  ;D

...it went over so well that they told me that unless I bring a case for Xmas dinner I'm not invited!

yea I gotta try it out. Apple cider usually bloats me like a cow but I read this one has higher alcohol and isn't as "bubbly".

You should try Mangria. That shit hits like a brick wall and tastes just like wine. The sneakiest drink ever. Wish I was still 17, that would be my rape drug ;D
