Did them yesterday. Played with 135 then up to 155x6. Trying to get back to 135x15 like I have in the past.

I stayed away from them for years "easy bar that is"   and after going back  I have become too wide for the bar itself so the plates hit my outer forearms.     Straight bar just says come at me bro.......     I want to do 200 for 8 by  july

Usually caused by going way too heavy.....almost like shin splints but in the forearms.

Straight barbell curls and incline seated dumbell curls is all I do. 6 to 8 sets in total with 10 to 15 reps each set

Can't do them. Too much forearm pain. Have to stick with dumbells. I would go back to the barbell in a new york minute if I could.

I can pull quite a bit, but I rarely go over 110 or so for working sets.

Same here - we've got pre-loaded straight bars in our gym and they only go up to 45kg (100lbs) - I can get a great biceps workout with the straight bar and prefer them to EZ-bar curls which for me only seem to work the outer half of the biceps.

E-Z Curl Bars are much better suited for triceps training unless one has bad/weak/injured wrists then it helps to use it for curls.
