JUNIOR,read this carefully:
CALORIES are a unit of energy,calories do NOT build muscle.
Take in more calories than the body requires,and you gain weight.......I said WEIGHT,not necessarily muscle.
Take in less calories than you are expending,and you will lose weight......again,I said WEIGHT,and again,not necessarily muscle.
Macros build muscle,each gram of the essential macros contains a certain amount of calories.............4 for both protein and carbs,and 9 for fat,so you CAN figure out your calories by using the calories found in each macro yes,but once again,calories do NOT build muscle.
Protein builds muscle, along with many other factors............calor ies do not,they either make you gain or lose bodyweight,possibly neither fat nor muscle and maybe just water.........it depends on a lot of variables..
So be a weak willed Gaylord and get that Big Mac instead of opting for a skinless chicken breast............both contain the macronutrient called protein,but the fucking Big Mac has more fat,sodium,calories,etc. etc.,and the Protein Efficieny Ratio is poor compared to chicken breast..ie,it`s a shitty quality of processed protein.
