I saw him compete at his peak. I was standing next to him and he was wearing a track suit. He looked about 5'8" and maybe 200lbs. I was thinking he doesn't look big at all. During the contest he came out and the contest was over. No one compared. He was ripped and detailed.

That's actually what he used to be in his prime. Around 5'8"-5'9" and averaged around 206-208 pounds in contest form, with LEGIT 20.5" upper arms. When he made his Master's comeback in the mid 90's/early 00's, he was 230-235 pounds.

No, I think it was muscle maturity and better steroids/diet/equipment. His midsection only looked smaller, because he weighed quite a bit less pre-1990's competitions.

I actually thought Robby was too smooth to win that show.  Lou was big and ripped, even if his Protan (or whatever -- that painted-on shit) looked AWFUL.  I probably would've given the title to him or Boyer Coe, but yeah ... Lou was such a big baby about losing that I'm glad Robby beat him.
