The powers that be are selling you these "combat rituals" as "fair-play" sports and a nice endeavour. Trust me, there is nothing "nice" about winning in big time sports. It's imposing your will over another's. No such thing as fair play. Of course, they are the biggest ipocrits fining athletes for unnecessary this or that and for "roids" when they should fire the whole NFL if that were a true standard.

They milked the idea of Lance Armstrong as an idol for years and years. They also took him down and made him nothing right in front of you. If you think these things are random, you are living a fairy tale that the powers that be use to mesmerize you into unconsciousness. While you are busy watching the next DARELL life happens and you don't even know it.

Pretty spot on Sev, but there ARE a few good guys out there. I raced stateside in Pro-Am cycling events with guys like Steve Bauer (Wore the yellow jersey in the TdF and Lance's team-mate) and Andy Hampsten (winner of the Giro d'Italia). Nicest people in the world. In races they were fair play all the way around.

They had a much more grounded view to life. Just saying.

There are a lot of people from poverty areas who have made it into sports, business and more.
