Mac,there is literally a ton of things you could do to try to bring them up to par.....here`s a few:
Pre-Exhaust-do an isolation exercise,immediately followed by a compund exercise.....no rest between exercises,ie. laterals of your choice with presses of your choice
Run the dumbell rack............start with the lowest weight,get 5-6 reps,keep going up the rack attempting to get these 5-6 reps,then when you hit failure,immediately repeat but going from heavy to light......no stopping until completely finished.
This should be done at the end of the workout to just fry delts.
Seated Bradford Press-affords continuous tension throught the exersise
Drop-Sets-do a set to failure,stop,grab a lighter weight keep going to failure again.
Super-Sets,Tri-Sets,or Giant-Sets.............employs mega high time under tension and ensures that you get a great pump/burn by doing a shitload of work in record time.
There`s a lot more,but my typing finger is getting tired....Rest Pause,half reps after no more full reps can be done just to extend the set.....also,one full rep,followed by one half rep.....fucking brutal,and also increases time under tension.
Mix things up constantly to keep the body from adapting to a set pattern which it does very quickly.
Also,for width,obviously do more lateral head work as opposed to pressing,work on getting the waistline and lats as best as you can obviously.
Only do one pressing exercise per workout,any more is just redundant.
