the full range of motion stuff is nonsense. use enough ROM to stimulate growth. extend too far on pressing and the triceps take stress off pecs.
FLEX magazine ruined the potential of a lot of kids over the years after reading "you must use a full ROM with slow, controlled reps... blah blah blah"
until you see an actual pro (or other 'big guy') train in person, and you think "hey, he's doing it all wrong!".. then if you have an IQ more than your age you realize, "wait... I've been taught all wrong!"
