Cardio the last day and a half has been running back and forth to the bathroom :-\

I find my waist looks great right after a stomach bug.

1 mile run @ 6:37

2 mile ruck @ 38 lbs: 23:20

With ruck - 1/4 mile 80lb sand bag carry broken up into 1/16 mile:  1 stop = 10 push up, 2nd stop = 10 bleacher climbs, 10 push up, 3rd stop = 10 push up

50 yard sprint x 5
50 yard bear crawl
50 yard lop sided farmer's walk with 80 / 60 sandbag
20 push up
50 yard lop sided farmer's walk with 80 / 60 sandbag

1 mile ruck @ 11:45

Just under 5 miles total.

The only time I pulled a hammy was went I got quad crazy after rehabbing a cracked kneecap - got all into front squats, isometric holds, and lunges.......

Point is, I created an imbalance.  I would you tube RDL's - I find them very beneficial.

I use a baseball, but truthfully, the soft baseball the t ball players use or a llax ball is best.

I just stand on it and roll it back and forth for 1-2 minutes.  You need to hold onto something to do it.  Hurts like a bitch the first few times.

Lol, does sound painful.

It is a bit.

But we need to revamp your training anyway.

Hereby cease and desist:

Tricep kickbacks
Direct rear delt work
Leg machines
Thingies
Oblique  training (oh brother  ::) )

Add:

Bulgarian split squat
RDL
Weighted pull up
More running - some fast, some slow.

Super set all exercises with another.

We will correct all this.

I hardly ever do kickbacks
I like rear delt work!
Ok on the leg machines
I train obliques for a more powerfull golf swing!

Need to look up Bulgarian split squat and RDL.
Working on my pullups, I'm terrible, can't do four sets of ten with my own bodyweight :-[
Cant agree more on the running. starting again outside this weekend.

And I do a bunch of supersets.

Ok on the obliques....you've convinced me.....for now.   I remember hearing this same argument for baseball during the steroid era.  Players were using PTs who were giving them bodybuilding routines and telling them to avoid exercises that make the waist thicker.  Coaches were like "they NEED those muscles"....

Played tag with my girls kid and friends, a little soccer, a little kick ball, a little catch.
The park we were at has a huge field, bigger then a football field. so I ran ran from one end to the other, not a full sprint but a good speed, faster then a jog.
