Man I remember video stores of old. I drove past one by my work a while back it was a Blockbuster and thought huh a video store still in business. Month later the going out of business sale.
There are still some small video stored around but not many.

Some of my best memories:  

Going to "cozy home" video. Small video store would go to as a kid. Had these little plastic coins with numbers on them you would take off the video box bring to the counter and get your movie. Would always get cartoons.

Another larger video store I remember renting a lot of martial arts movies.
True fact:  this is where I was first exposed to bodybuilding. Would walk by the sports section and see all of the greats on the cover of the Olympia videos. This was like early mid 90s I was just a kid but by looking on the covers Dorian and Levrone were always the most impressive to me. Thankfully never did ask my dad if I could rent one.

Yeah, all the blockbuster stores in my area are gone. Its sort of sucks, though I am not surprised because Blockbuster was still charging late fees until the very end. You would think they would do away with late fees, given that netflix was totally destroying them. They refused to adapt to the times.
