who cares that yates doesn't have that much mass any more. he's retired. and he is focused on his family and on making money. he has nothing to prove and will never compete again. a lot of people who train so hard for so long let themselves go and it's OKAY.

I think it's great Dorian is at ease enough to be happy however he looks, hopefully he will be around the 200 mark rather than try and hang on to his former best.  Others have managed to stay in great shape without being what they once were - David Hasselhoff for example.  He had one of the greatest physiques of all time when in Baywatch, now he's a little off that form but still good.

That's a given but Hasselhoff is genuinely one of the greatest men and indeed world figures of any age.

Dorian may look like he worked out at some point in his life . . .

Dorian won the Olympia how many times?  . . . 6?  And Dorian is how old? . . . only 2 years older than Ronnie?  And now Dorian "may" look like he used to work out . . . ha ha ha ha ha

what's wrong with you people? making fun of Yates because he doesn't look like a bodybuilder any more. He has 6 sandows, a huge name, lots of money, and as far as we can tell a happy family life. how many of you have even one of those? you're on a bodybuilding website talking about one of the greatest bodybuilders ever who could train for 6 months right now and look better than every single one of you who talk bad about him. oooh look Yates has no arms any more... you sound like a bunch of housewives with nothing better to do or like some old Bitches. have a little respect.

I don't care about Dorian or any other Mr. Olympia.  Fact is, without drugs, they don't look like much.  Hate to say over and over, but it's a fact.  Pro's who stop competing and still look real good are most likely on.  Massive amount of gear f**k up your natural test production, which is why I don't bother.  With my mentality, I'd take 4x the recommended dosage.  I'm sure mild cycles aren't a big deal, but at a pro level, get ready to be shot once you stop using.  Show me one clean former pro who looks "great"?  Don't give me the change of diet bullshit either.  Sure, you'll drop 20lbs or so, but not 85lbs.  Get real.

There are retarded people who don't get it and there are people like me who realise that pageantry probably wasn't all that glamorous in the first place and spending your life appeasing closet homosexuals and 1 dimensional imbeciles with your big muscles is probably not the most varied and exciting existence.  "Good" for a while but hey, its a big world out there and the gym isn't going to help you explore it.

You can't tell jack shit from that one pic. There were recent pics that madmax at mayhem posted taken at his store and he didn't look skinny by any means. He said Dorian was by his own account 250lbs! I believe him, he has a lot of dense muscle still.

Dorian is a legend, who cares if he loses some weight. The retards are those who can't let go and focus on other things.

It seems like some of you are associating self-worth with body image.

I believe Lee Haney took some ribbing from his son because he wasn't in as great a shape as he used to be, maybe that's why he's bigger.

As for Yates, why does it matter if he lost muscle? That's what happens after you stop competing and taking gear, as hard as it is to believe he could still train and look that way. He also could've decided to move on to other endeavors, participating in contests where males take their shirts off and pose isn't what lifes all about. Muscle will come and go.

If all you learn from bodybuilding is more bodybuilding than you haven't learned shit.
