I've seen 405 inclines for reps the guy was on enough anadrol daily to launch a space shuttle.dude was huge he worked as bounty hunter/jail nicest guy u would ever meet.
seen similiar, from guys not even so big, and well some were huuuge.
they warm up 1 plate, then 2 plates for eternal many reps(where i was already thinking what the fuck.we talking something like 30-40fast warmup reps),then 3plates barely struggeling to get easy 15,and then 1 of them put 4plates and half each side and asked me for a spot, i thought this will be kinda deadlifts exercise for me, thought he will need much help.
so, the guy unracks that himself and does 4 reps alone and i barely helped him on the 5th.was full rom explosive reps, no shirt no bs, he just did that without breaking a sweat.
was something like 6ft 5, clearly taller than me, so there goes the theory about tall guys not being able to bench.
then i witnessed a "strongman" guy doing his chest training once, i never seen anything like that before, nor later.
guy had traps out of this world, wasnt even so fat, but i first thought its the average permafatsobulko, but i was wrong.
same stuff, 1 plate warmup etc.but he went upto 5 plates each side for few reps.
all alone,no spotter, nobody even close.and yes no tshirt either.
this is the strongest lifter i ever seen.
btw i do not count the fatties who call themselves powerlifters with their belts and tshirts as lifters, they are fat disgusting pigs.they do not count.
another one memeory that ill never forget was a female bbuilder, low and behold, she was stronger than me rep for rep,lol.
what i mean is she used same weight id typicaly use on normal day on bench and did same amount of reps but def better form than me.
no problem admitting that.sure she didnt look like a woman anymore,but yeah.not even particularly huge.
watching the strongman doing benchpress, it dawned on me how pointless al this what u bench discussion is,theres always someone who will plain and simple blast your peformance away by a football field.
