I would agree that this far right belief is a product of sensationalized media babies.
However, if the left leaning posters so strongly believe in Barack Obama's agenda and weren't just ideologues, there would have been a concise answer to this question about what the Obama administration has accomplished since 2008 and the steps in the right direction the Obama administration has taken to solve the debt crisis.
I still don't see one yet. all I see are people frantically hurling insults at Coach because they have zero talking points on the subject. for instance, the next post won't be an answer to the question. it will most probably be an insult towards myself......for pointing out the obvious.
Bears, I'm not going to insult you but I will explain by way of saying that Coach has likely just been trolling from the get-go. It's highly unlikely that his question was an effort to learn something. No, he just wants to try to rip on the left in his clumsy and uninformed way.
I considered writing a serious response to his question but do you know what stopped me? You know what made me want to try to make sure he wasn't trolling by asking him to clarify exactly what his question meant?
What stopped me is that I tried to imagine how he would respond. And, based on his regular "contributions" to this board, how do YOU think he'd respond? (lol) No matter how that question was answered, I honestly can't conceive of a universe where it's within the realm of possibility that he'd say anything even as fair-minded as, "Ok, fair enough, I can see why some libs might still support Obama's agenda now even though I don't." Hell no, lol, he's just gonna make some halfway irrelevant quip about "spin" or whatever.
So there was no freakin' way that I was going to take the time to write out a literate and accurate reply to his short-ass question only to have him not spend even 15 seconds considering my answer before replying with his customary unlettered ignorance.
The least he could do, in my mind, is to spend a little more time by clarifying his question so that, after I spend all the time it would take to properly answer his question and he responds like a dumbass, I won't be made to feel like Charlie Brown when Lucy inevitably pulls away the football I'm trying to kick.
This is way too long already but I'll add that some folks on this board are here just to sling arrows. Coach is one of those people. Others, like me, sometimes like to sling arrows too (Hi, BB!) or just joke around but often we are honestly interested in learning about and sharing different viewpoints in a serious way for the benefit of all.
Personally, my opinion is that Coach would need to show he's serious about wanting to engage others (especially others with differing viewpoints) before I'll take him seriously enough to answer any of his questions without first making sure he's sincere.
Aaaaand I'm out. (Wife needs attention, lol.)
