Dude, what's your problem? I go to the dentist every 6 months. All your doing is attacking me and being a complete dick.
You're right. Kicking a man when he's got a toothache is pretty uncalled for, lol.
Anyway, a couple of questions:
- How far back is this upper molar?
If it's the very back one, you can just have it pulled without much problem.
- Didn't the guy who did the root canal prescribe you an anti-biotic?
My guy did this after a root canal I had done on a Saturday in December just in case he'd accidentally left any germs or other crud in my nerve canal that might cause a painful infection that I wouldn't be able to have him do anything about because his office is closed on Sunday.
- Did they just fill the tooth without putting a crown on it yet?
I didn't get my crown when I had my root canal done because with my insurance it made more sense financially to wait until after the first of the year (to get the crown). I still haven't gotten the crown (because I'm moving cross-country soon and need to pinch pennies) but have noticed that the affected tooth (upper tooth 3rd from rear - a pre-molar?) is a tiny bit "loose" and gives off a slight electric shock-like pain when I try to move it with my tongue. I think I need to get the damn crown ASAP.
BTW, I would go to the office and raise a little bit of hell. They already cost you unnecessary money by having you fill a cavity and getting you to have a root canal on the same tooth shortly thereafter. Unless you've been chewing ice or something like that with your recently worked on tooth, you should not be having serious pain. Make 'em fix that shit or at least give you some anti-biotics.
