Then the trick is to make it tolerable.

I can eat the same breakfast when dieting for about 10 weeks, then i'll hate it. My favorite is 1 whole egg, 4 whites beaten then add half a cup of low fat cottage cheese. Nuke it for 2-3 mins leaving it still a bit runny. Quite filling, fairly tasty and should tide you over till lunch. If not, an apple will.

Like i say, i tire of it, then have to switch but creating some quick diet meals you can rustle up in minutes really helps keep you on the straight & narrow.

Evenings for me - unlimited steamed veggies for filler, usually tossed in some sort of salad dressing for boredom alleviation. The wife steams 2-3 days worth at a time and i can always pick on them if i get snackish. Chicken breasts pre cooked too and black beans or similar also cooked in batches.

In short bored but never hungry.

I'd also advise getting an account on calorie king to track your food & progress. Not because you need it but because it helps you mentally which is where most diets fail. That and the reliance on gimmick diets.

Here is what I am making tonight for after my workout.  I have been very busy this week but still managed to get in the kitchen for some Muffin Tin Frittatas with Bacon, Steak and Mashed Sweet Potatoes.

This will give you four sandwiches worth.  With two slices of bread you are looking about 463 calories a sandwich and 26 grams of protein.  Without bread, you are looking at 263 calories and 16 grams of protein.  Its a VERY good Classic and simple Tuna Salad and I encourage everyone to make it. 

Classic Tuna Salad

    2 (6 ounce) cans solid white tuna packed in water
    2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    1 stalk celery , minced (about 1/4 cup)
    2 tablespoons red onions , minced
    2 tablespoons dill pickles or 2 tablespoons sweet gherkins , minced
    ½ clove garlic , minced or pressed through a garlic press (about 1/8 tsp.)
    ½ teaspoon salt
    ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
    2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves , minced
    ½ cup mayonnaise
    ¼ teaspoon Dijon mustard

Directions:

    Place the tuna in a colander and drain well.
    Shred the tuna with your fingers, breaking up any clumps until it has a fine and even texture.
    Put the tuna in a medium bowl and mix in the lemon juice, celery, onion, pickles, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley until well blended.
    Fold in the mayonnaise and Dijon until mixture is evenly moistened.
    Salad can be kept covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

This thread needs to remain on topic.  No attacks.  No bullshit.  Period.  This is not "special treatment". This is the same courtesy that would be extended to any member with a sincere cause.
