better with a straight bar but a respectable weight he is using. Good to see he is still using old School exercises... after all that is what built him.

This way feels much better to me; better stretch, better balance and much easier when you train alone.

Yes dropping your hips too. I prefer a straight Bar myself lying on a flat bench not across it. really hits my lats.. i think he was doing it for chest. it does not matter chest and back are hit. An exercise which really gives not only volume for some ( i do not believe it Stretches the rib Cage ) but also a great tricep workout. Include a press ( Pullover and press) and itīs one of the best movements around.

Is it a chest or back dominant exercise? I think that depends on which phase during the ROM; the deepest part pec dominant and the upper part more lats involvement, while the serratus is activated through the whole ROM (at least, that's how I feel it).
Pullover/press.. I've heard about it, but never tried it; I'm more a fan of single movements.

Good post.. yes the serratus is trained very well. infact i would go as far to say this is a very important exercise for Mature Trainers. it Stretches and tones a lot more muscles than we realize.. also in my opinion gives your chest in advanced years a great toning effect...i wonder if Arnold knows this.. ;)

pull over and press a great exercise for Triceps, and chest. Some Lats in there too but i like to just concentrate on BB Pullovers for lats.

itīs because most "Trainers" do not know These great old School exercises.

pull overs r such a great exercise for bringing out the serratruss n adding depth to the chest n back, depending how a person positions their elbows determines what areas gonna get creamed, when i used to train with mr world bill grant back in 94 he had me doing tons of them,i did notice a  difference in my muscle shape after afew months
