They weren't TOO bad either in 1980, just needed about 10lb more overall...

That's right peak Arnold had it all. That pic posted is sick, layers of muscle with very deep separation. Yea there's plenty of non peak or non competition pics where they are down in size and slender but at peak they were plenty big especially for his height.

During his era Arnold had the best over all leg development. That's right. You heard me. The BEST leg development in that era. Best calves AND quads. People just think of when they were lacking in 1980 but during his era no one touched his quads and calves. We all know about his calves but his quads were perfectly proportioned and separated like nobody else in his era. Zane had good seperation but didn't come close to Arnold's size.

Quads are too big nowadays. BBers waddles around like fatties now. Arnold's were perfect. That's right. I said it. They were perfect.

Don't argue with me on this point. It needed to be said.

Arnold's toothpick legs are the best of all time, as are his small delts and shitty midsection. It's all the greatest ever and no one should ever argue it. Arnold is God.

I sense some bitter sarcasm. Perhaps you can educate us as to who had better overall leg development during his 1970-75 era?

The Oak is the finest example of bodybuilding ever.  Sans drugs I would say Reeves and Park but otherwise, Arnold is Numero Uno.

Symmetry?  Arms, neck and calves should be as close in measurement to one another as possible.  Chest and the combined measurement of both thighs should be equal.  Arnold had a 57" chest and 28.5" thighs.  His arms were 22.5" and his calves 20" (I don't know about his neck measurement) and his waist was 34".

"Massthetics" at their finest.

Not my Favourite Bodybuilder but for the Fans here, a rare film from Arnold and looks like it was shot in England. He lived/trained in England early on.

I dunno, as I've seen the photos of when he competed and even against the Oak he didn't look like a drug built physique.    In the few interviews I've seen in years gone by, Park seemed an honorable man.

Yes, and from what I read in my youth Bill admitted taking steroids late in his career.

Early Park was natural, still an excellent physique though.

He never had that thick Arnold like chest (btw, almost no one had) and keep in mind that Reg was much older than Arnold.
PEDs or not, I can see why any of them weren't honorable. What matters is that someone doesn't become lazy once PEDs are introduced, something that often happens.
