Very true. People forget Arnold was only 28 when he called it a day.

Even 1975 was sorta comeback because of Pumping Iron(let alone 1980).He planned retirement after 1974 at 27.

You can say that Arnold gave up Bodybuilding at age 27 it wasn't no longer a goal for him.... He did go to Africa after filming Stay hungry in 75 because he was to be the main character of Pumping Iron " but he stopped improving and taking bodybuilding seriously the year before.

A natty could never stick with that workout regime more than 2 weeks without burning out. I tried it several times when I was in my mid-20's... impossible.

I will do it for a single week every couple of months or so; just to ramp up the intensity when I feel like I am slacking.
