This is a great pic of Arnold relaxed, yea way ahead of his time and his quads were big enough and very defined. This is peak Arnold, I think 70/71/72 his quads in contest were not quite big enough. Not always the case though, there are pictures from the late 60's where his quads were big, not as defined but at that point overpowered his calves. 73/74 he was as perfect as could be, 75 was close but he had to regain alot because of stay hungry so the quads at some angles weren't quite back up in size.

Cracks me up when people criticize Arnold's quads. He had the best quads in his era and when you include the calves he blew everybody away on legs.
Look how he just destroys Serge, who some feel was better than Arnold. In fact there is a poster on this thread (can't remember whom) who constantly criticizes the Oak's quads and Arnold over all. When I asked him who he considered better during that era he said Serge Nubret.
Arnold was just way, way ahead of the competition in his era.
