Just another right wing crybaby who can't deal with the fact that the federal government has certain rights regarding federally owned land
and then, after losing in court, turned to what appears to be terrorism and "thuggish" behaviour (bombing, armed intimidation,etc..)

the only reason the government backed down for now was for the safety of their employees from these nuts

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2014/04/15/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-long-fight-between-cliven-bundy-and-the-federal-government/

They backed down because they didn't want to see the start of a 2nd American Revolution just yet.

And the title of the article you posted is misleading. There's much more to this than that scant treatment offers.

Give the dude enough time, and yep, people will see what he's all about.

I'm not even going to paste what he said, involving race.

He doesn't make a very good case for himself or his character
Fortunately for his position on his right to graze, the evidence he needs has previously been compiled.
He may have lost touch with reality as far as people with different skin is concerned, but his battle goes back to 1993, and Obama's Feds were not present at the time.

it's like he undermines the point he's making.

Now, the left CAN very accurately point out "this racist doesn't feel he should have to pay land fees".

And it's not just them being slanderous...

Agreed, but sadly, people keep bringing political allegiance into the mix.
Who he votes for in elections, or if he even votes as well as his warped ideas on race, is and should be completely irrelevant to his claim of rights to the land, or his not having to pay grazing fees.

Judging by what happened at the Waco siege, the US government doesn't seem to care about women and children human shields.

Bundy is not a racist.  He hates racist people...and black people too.

if EVERYONE did what Bundy did - our military would collapse.

No more fed dollars = no more defense to keep NKorea, china, russia, etc from taking over this place.

Now people are complaining that the militia is stopping them, and demanding to see their "papers".

Is this much better than the govt they're protesting?

Concerns growing about militia members at Bundy ranch

Source: CBS - Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- Concerns are growing about members of the militia surrounding rancher Cliven Bundy.

Democratic Rep. Steven Horsford, sent a letter to Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie about the safety of residents in the Bunkerville area. Horsford says his constituents have "expressed concern" over the presence of armed militia groups from out of state.

According to Horsford, his constituents say the militia have set up checkpoints where residents must prove they live in the area before they are allowed to pass and have set up a "persistent presence" along federal highways, and state and county roads. They also claim some have established an armed presence in the community.

Horsford told the sheriff that the militia are making people feel unsafe.

Armed people from across the country arrived in Bunkerville weeks ago to support Bundy in his fight with the Bureau of Land Management over cattle the agency says are illegally grazing on federally managed lands.

Here's where the FEDs are getting legs on which to stand. This could very well justify a strong use of force.

Not good.  Undecided

And at that point, i WOULD support a use of force against those individuals.  This is AMERICA - and the thought of being stopped and denied my constitutional right by this group that

- leader makes racist statements on TV
- pushes women to front of protest and admits they wanted to see injuries for TV time
- blocks road while protesting

Now, whether he's right or wrong about paying his bills, suddenly they're denying Americans their right to just drive down the road, stopping them for PAPERS.   Sheeit, anyone pulls me out of my car and demands papers... I'm calling a lawyer/ACLU, if its a cop.  I'm pulling my fcking gun if some random citizen decides to yank me out of car and pat me down.

Getbig has been silent... 2 weeks ago, they were ready to elect Bundy President.  Now, it's quiet.  Have yall changed your mind on the guy?  Or are you cool with his crew forcing people to show their papers?

Cliven Lance Bundy

LAS VEGAS -- The son of a Nevada rancher, who faced off with the Bureau of Land Management earlier this year, has been arrested.

Cliven Lance Bundy, 34, was arrested Monday on criminal contempt and probation violation charges. In July, a warrant was issued for his arrest because Bundy did not appear before a Clark County District Court judge who oversees a drug diversion program.

He could face two to eight years in state prison, if he is found in violation of terms of the five years’ probation imposed after he pleaded guilty in February 2013 to felony burglary and weapon theft charges.

Bundy has blamed his issues on an addiction to pain killers.
