Mike has released an update:

**PREP UPDATE**

I spoke with my coach and both he (Salim Satir) and I feel it would be best if I continue to take full advantage of my current growth spurt and ride it out a bit longer. I will not be doing the Chicago and Tampa Bay Pro shows, but instead, I will be competing in late August/September (USA) and October (Europe).

Video explanation will follow….but I have to go train first

Well. he comes in peeled from head to toe, where guys are soft he is real hard like hams, glutes and lower back, he has super shredded glutes, then he has a tiny waist with some of the craziest obliques ever.

So maybe not impressive in off season form but has some rare qualities.

Mike looks 24 weeks out he obviously didn't do Chicago because there is no way he can be ready on time. Not looking good I've seen him look better.

One thing I'll say about Mike Johnson is at least he's not syntholing the crap out of his arms to "bring them up." Though I fear he'll start doing that once he realizes conditioning alone won't win him pro shows, and we'll have another oilbag on stage.

Mike is very intelligent though, he always goes for the sharper look over size and when conditioned he make look slender but up close he looks pretty fucken big, pics don't do him justice

I've never see him in person so I have no idea how big he looks. From pics his structure isn't the best and arms need serious size. I'm not shitting on him or saying he's not a good bodybuilder, he's obviously better than me

but the things I mentioned will keep him from taking 1st at pro shows.
PS I agree that his conditioning is excellent, but conditioning is a tricky thing, very easy to slip up.

oh ya totally agree, he is small compared to the top pros.
