wow his arms atrophied fast. with the growth in the gut everythin looked flabby almost like his pecs looked like smooth bags of oil. Obvioualy this is what was going to happen after you have a physique like his that was held together so long by drugs once they stop things will decline. high growth dosages just makes things worse for them but seems most continue.

I'd rather toss a football with joe montana.... even if he can only throw it ten yards...

then play catch with a "star" like Joe Flacco or Mark Sanchez that can throw the ball 50 yards to me.

I'd rather see Ronnie guest pose (looking like crap) than some newbie no-name, juiced to the gills, ready to deliver an epic 4th place at a Tier 3 scrub show... even if new kid has more muscle than Ronnie... he'll still never reach anywhere near ronnie levels... In 25 years, people will still debate if Ronnie the best. Most of today's guys will be long forgotten by then.

Oh well, he still has his Sandows, "Legendary" status... and maybe, just maybe.. he will stick around for a while to live a normal life. From what I've read in his interviews, he is having a hard time pushing his supplement line just because of all the pain, agony and mental discontent.

Hell of a price to pay.

It happens to everyone eventually, but for some, it's worse than for others.

He needs to stop "guest-posing" ~ that is one thing I just DO NOT understand.

Very good point. Thing is, he doesn't act like he's doing it for the dough. It's as if he really believes he's still "all that" with his bouncing hip-hop routine. Maybe I just feel bad for him.. and I shouldn't.

I just want to remember him how he was.

Makes me wonder what Cutler might be doing over the next ten years.

I guess when that time comes, retrospect will make me realize that Ronnie wasn't as bad post-retirement as I may have thought.

Ron's a great guy. People love him. I guess they all find a way to overlook the fact that he looks NOTHING like he used to. Maybe it's all about him just being him. There are a lot of "ex" Pro's that absolutely COULD NOT pull this off... Mr.O winners or not ~

On the other hand, I hope Arnold Schwarzakoff doesn't get any bright ideas ~

Long term drug use and reaching a certain size where the body is just deformed, once arms and legs shrink you're left with the awkward torso/belly.

I don't think for most of his career he was using "crazy dosages" but from 2003-2006 and esp 2003 he really went crazy with the dosages. Those short years imo is what did him in. Those were the years that were very noticeable and prob will cost him health wise long term

i saw it on fit, someone said how he couldnt stop seeing the traps as shoulders of a smaller man within the bigger body ala a russin doll
