Maybe I am misunderstanding but if the best you can do with 225 is "4 or 5" (can't remember
) there's no way you are getting 315.
That's just what I did last Friday after not pressing any exercise for months. I stopped at 4 or 5 because of a tweak in my injured shoulder, but could have easily done more. No idea how many more though. Could have had 10 total in me, could have been 14-15. And speaking from experience that would put me at or over 315 again -- I suck at high reps. But I'm not going to live dangerously. Just a slow buildup of 10 Lbs per session, and see where it takes me. World record by September.

FYI: years ago I benched 315x1 the first day after coming back from a 5-year layoff, so I'm not bragging but lamenting!
