Like Joon, I am pretty carb-sensitive and it took me several months to drop them all. For a while, I was pure paleo and dropped about 35 fast, but it does take it's toll in the gym.
Now I go between 100g and 200g a day. The secret for me is NO BINGING. My will is unbreakable. It is so powerful, that if I need to have a piece of cake for a social engagement, it will be only one and done.
I prefer oats (been using the Halo powdered oats in protein shakes...very cool) and rice or sweet potatoes. No wheat: bread or pasta.
Getting there is hard, staying there isn't that bad.
