I always thought they were just a mental improvement away from being top tier.  It was the Spurs they pushed to the max, I think last year?

Blake makes dumb choices in the final minute.  Chris Paul is insecure.  Another under-achieving team with insane physical capability, but their maturity holding them back.  

They lost a 3 to 1 lead to the Rockets last year, I believe.

Never been a fan of Paul. One of (if not at the top) the cheapest crybabys in the NBA. A player I enjoy seeing lose over and over again.

Not sure why people are talking about how Paul's injury hurts their chances against GS when they are tied 2-2 against Portland and looked like shit in their last two games.  They might not even make it out of the first round now.

Tonight we get to enjoy an annual tradition that goes back to Dwight Howard playing for ORL.   Then LA.   Now HOU.

He gets himself ejected from the final game of each season once it's out of reach.   He does it every year, because he's a punk who cannot stand to be on the floor.  He picks up an early cheap technical completely unnecessarily (staring down a dude after dunking) in the 1st half.

Once they're down 22 points in the 3rd quarter, Dwight will CONTINUE poking players, staring, talking shit, until the refs (well aware of his yearly charade) will finally give him that 2nd technical, so he can go to the locker room early and get ready for the off-season.

it's almost halftime now.   Warriors lead the series 3-1 and they're up by 15 points.   Howard got that early cheap technical foul, so he's in good position to bail once the game is out of reach.   Let's see if he pulls the same punk move again this year

1:35 left in the 2nd quarter.   Dwight blows an easy layup then shoves green in the back as he takes the ball in on the other end.  Up 22 points.

Don't get carried away.  They're playing Dallas and not even trying to play defense.  When they face a team like the Spurs or GS they get exposed real quick.  The Spurs are the luckiest team ever playing Memphis with their 2 stars out the entire series.

I'm ready but I think Golden State are by far the favorites this year and this is even without Durant. I still think the Spurs can come out of the West.  I think who ever comes out of the West this year will win it all against Cleveland.

GS without Durant looks unstoppable and with Durant look awkward at times.  Without Durant this is essentially the same team that won the championship, almost won last year and can do it again.  Durant was never the answer or reason why they didn't win last year.  Their lack of rebounding is what killed them in the finals.  When Tristan Thompson had 10 rebounds in the first half of game 7 and most were offensive that is why they lost.  Gave the Cavs too many second chance opportunities.
