That's what I wondered, and I posit that there's some sort of metabolic damage. However, for lean guys it'll pull the water out of the fat and if you have enough muscle you shouldn't deflate. I'm lean and veiny like a cock, so I just look like an erect cock. If I eat a big, I look like a full erect cock and life is good.
I don't advocate doing that all the time, but the times where I've been busy or stressed I always lean way the fuck out. I strip down and go to hop in the shower but stop because my midsection looks so fucking chiseled. Riblets are out, delts are capped, arm and shoulder veins stick out... people say crash dieting is bad, but even if I'm stressed and starving for all the wrong reasons I look good. Someone needs to explain that to me. When I starve deliberately, same effect. I can't explain why, but it works lol
