During a hike in Sweden I made an involuntary dive into a swamp and could not get out. Luckily Phreak grabbed my backpack and pulled me out.
During a visit to a Slovakian mine the person before me got stuck in a narrow tunnel, so I couldn't get out either. That's where I found out I have claustrophobia...
When visiting a local library I got harassed by a group of 12-14 boys. Had to fight my way out, since nobody would help (or even notice something was wrong).
A former boyfriend placed a knife on my throat, for his pleasure. Got out of that house as soon as I could. This was one of the few boys my parents approved of, not knowing he had these abusive tendencies. (I also did not know until then)
During a one night stand I accidentally grabbed the guys gun instead of his manhood. He assured me he only used it on cats...

(I'm an inch away from being a crazy cat lady)
Less dangerous, but still scary: during a visit in Turkey my passport got stolen, so I had to go to the police station. When I got out of the cab, at least 4 policemen were pointing their riffles at me. I don't speak a word Turkish, they don't speak anything else but Turkish. Luckily the cabdriver told them who I was and why I was there. Another very friendly police officer (with a huge black mustache) took me inside for loads of tea and biscuits, while we waited for a translator.
