BINGO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111111
this n as I've said before. There just isn't the interest by the masses to get that huge bb look anymore as in the 80s. Bb were everywhere all hoping for that silver screen big break. Now with less people persuing it u lose that increased chance of getting those perfect bodies. Smaller pool. Yes there's tons of people into fitness but very few willing to go that extra step. N prolly rightly so judging by the health problems of past pros.

I think a couple of posters really hit the nail on the head. Weider principles, Otomix shoes, and a Henderson Thorne endorsed muscle stimulator machine.

Hot Stuff supplements and also EAS HMB because it feels like one is taking deca.

From average juicers to usa competitors..no one will ever look like shawn ray, dennis newman, bob paris..etc etc...everyone's bodies in todays time look so un proportional,  no one has a small waist..no one tries to develop a thick muscular chest..no1 has any sort of discipline for creating simmetry...who wouldnt want to look like shawn ray or dennis newman..you would bang every girl and demand so much respect..

Does the ifbb have this kind of influence in the regression of exercise training..based on their current love for mass..im certain everyone in the 80s wanted to join the Arnold club

That's why we have the men's physique class now.  It's a neverending stream of chiseled abs, tapered 26 inch waists and utter fear of the squat rack.

Take out the insulin, lower the GH, lower the androgens (to Almost nothing) raise the anabolics and do some actual training.
There you go!

Train 4 hrs a day, 6 days a week.
No HGH or insulin
No Tren
Keep the test low
Swallow Dbol like candy
Eat a diet high in red meat
Practice posing and flexing an hour a day
Keep your body proportional (No huge stupid legs)
Don't overuse machine weights
Lift heavy but don't lift stupid
You actually diet to get lean
Don't depend on drugs to make up for your shitty work ethic
No Synthol
Pullovers
Don't play the size game
Practice the vacuum pose daily
Only use Pharmaceutical gear

i feel like this is excellent advise..tren in the equation?

Thank you, shockingly I do just about the opposite of half that list.

I feel like topics like these are similar to "all music today sucks" statements. People just don't want to move on. There are a shit ton of competitors with amazing builds out there. Some of you guys just have unrealistic standards.

because we got concerned with the scale weight.

how many guys were under 220 in the 80's? MOST of them.

how many guys focused more on chest, abs, and arms before dorian? most of them.

we figured out that we had to force feed ourselves to get as heavy as possible.. and if you wanted that scale weight to increase, you had to put muscle on the largest areas, meaning legs and back. which meant focusing more on movements that brought into play more muscles everywhere.

who had a big, wide, thick back back in the 80's who didn't also have a bigger than average waist?

who had big, dense, thick legs back in the 80's who didn't also have a thicker torso?

I can't think of anybody.

Ummmm.....NO! You wouldn't bang every girl and demand so much respect. Back in high school, I'd be reading FLEX or Muscle & Fitness and someone would see pics of guys like Ray or Paris and it's the usual "Eww!!! That's gross!!" or "He's too big! That's nasty!"

It's pretty much the same now as it was 25 years ago.

Genetic excellence.
Hard and long workouts, strict lifting style.
Real diet, starvation style.
Sleep.
Throw in some low dose anabolics and you have the look.

No doubt tren is over used, but it certainly has a place in bodybuilding.

You do end up looking like shit in the face though lol.

Ronnie, dexter, dorian, they all have that corpse-face thing going on, from what i can only assume is blasting tren for years on end.
