Ford Super Duty ...

Nice looking trucks but those diesel motors SUUUUCKKK hard

The newest 6.7l powerstroke comes from the factory with 440hp and 880lb-ft of torque.  The engineers say they could put them out with 500/1000 in their current set up.

The 6.0l had issues, and I'm sure the 6.7l will too (there's so many emission requirements it's amazing to me that they can build anything that lasts anymore), but almost 900 lb-ft of torque stock?  That does not SUUUUCKKK hard

Trucks THAT big are stupid anyways, whether big or small or small people drive them...but your comment is directed at small guys?wtf? these guys get the short end of the stick anyways and here you are discriminating against them further. what did short people do to you?  tall people rule the world anyways, why can't the short guy at least dream big, or own a truck if they want you jerk?

I'm short. I don't feel discriminated.

Haha.  Farming.  They're 6x6 so we use them to pull trailer loads of produce outta the fields and bring directly to our facility.

Last summer I trained at World Gym San Diego.  As I was pulling into the parking lot, I noticed little Derik Farnsworth getting into his huge truck.  He could barely reach the door handle.  Wish I had taken a pic of it.

Go out and drive any truck Ford, Dodge, or Chevy and you'll find out why people love trucks.  What's not to like about a vehicle with a V8.

Trucks are great.  I just fail to see the attraction of one lifted so high as to prevent even a 7 footer from getting in and out with ease.  They are also dangerous in accidents as their bumpers are so high as to go right over the door sills or trunk, smashing the stoofing out of the people inside the other vehicle(s).

Once again, proof that there are only two races of people on this planet.  The smart and the stoooopid.

Petrol here is multiples more expensive, you guys have it good.

Venezuela has good prices too, 1 cent per litre. Good, everyday economy, easy to maintain without a ton of subsidies.

The 6.0 had HUGE issues. There are companies out there that all they do is "bullet proofing" 6.0s. Read about this piece of garbage motor. Almost bankrupted Ford.

The later generation powerstrokes are shit too...not as bad. I'm talking long term reliability. You NEED to pull off the EGR, DFE and make a straight pipe exhaust on these asap.

I love the body styles, interiors and power outputs are fucking amazing. If you're using it as a "bro" truck and gonna own it for a year or 2 and put like 30k miles on them, you have nothing to worry about.

But for people who use these trucks to tow trailers a lot for business or pleasure and want to keep them for a long time. Good luck. They have a lot of problems.

They don't hold a candle to the Cummins or Duramax motors.

Nuh uh, I gotta have something that big to take the trash off with. But damn Obama is the one who decides gas prices.

I'm a big diesel fan, but I can't really justify owning a heavy duty diesel like a Ram 2500 or Ford F-250 at the moment. I'm waiting on the new Ram Eco-diesels long term reviews from consumers to see what kind of bugs those trucks may have before making any decisions about buying one.

Not a gasser truck  type of guy anymore...even though I did love my 2nd Gen Lightning back in the day.
