Reading his intervew, I give him much credit with the knolowge he has at only 22.  That being said, I hope he is smart enough to keep his usage down to a minimun. At his age  the old diminshed returns will kick in and he'll peek in his 20's and burn out before 40.  Like the man himself said, time is on his side.  Use it wisley.

Dude is huge and has pro level legs.  However, Lee Priest is probably a giant compared to him... ;D.  Seriously, though, guys who juice as much a Flex...and don't kid yourself he juices his gills off....will not go as far as a dude who may be smaller but is building a good foundation.  Look at Ronnie...hell at 25 he was small relatively speaking to this cat.  However, he built a solid foundation and then when he went hardcore with the gear he became the largest man alive.  Look at Dorian...he didn't juice like this dude and was tight at 21.  By the time he was in his thirties...he was thickest and sickest individual to ever walk the Earth till some mutant named Coleman blew up like a H bomb.  I predict that Phil Heath will eat this guys lunch and shit on him in five years.

Alex. You are delusional.  I love how you say, I got big Using very little. hahahahah.

What is little to you?   You have no idea what it was like training naturally as a teenager so you have no authority using your personal experience on the subject.

I trained from 13 to 18 naturally so I DO know what it means to do it naturally.
At 18 I started taking 3-5 Winstrols a day for 8 weeks before a show and my body was transformed! All the jelous haters (like you) in my gym all around the country were gossiping how I must be on some of the highest doses ever. The year after I was taking 25 mg a week of Deca Durabolin and I saw a difference between night and day. I thought that was a huge amount because that was the monthly dose prescribed at the time. I didn't care, I just wanted to win. So to answer you: I really couldn't care less if you beleive me or not like I didn't care less about the haters at the time. I did what I wanted to do and the 22 year olds should do the same instead of listening to people like you.

Oh thats nice, you are advocating drug use for the "22 year olds  who should do the same instead."

You just contradicted yourself! You talk about building foundation and such, then you state Phil Heath eating Flex's lunch. Do you realize that Phil blew up pretty quick and turned pro at 25??? Don't you think he'll probably burn out too??? I bet he too juices to the gills? What about Shawn Ray, he was a pro at the age of 22 and went on to compete in 13 olympias. Only time will tell how far Flex Lewis will go, hes got the genetics and certainly the right work ethics. We'll see!

Viator was bigger than just about anyone at 19.  Amazing how poor some of you guys are on your history.  Viator was one of the most naturally gifted guys for putting on size there was.  A real mesomorph.  The only guy Mike Quinn said he was ever afraid of after seeing Casey perform wrist curls with 315 like it was a warm-up.  Lol, fvcking beast.

Alex,
I commend you for putting yourself out and trying to tell your story, but there is no need to.  those of us whom really love bodybuilding know your achivements and talent.  Most of comments towards you tend to be negative, stupied and just plain ridiculous.  Much respect...
The topic started off if it is healthy for a 22 year old to be big?  then turned towards steriod use.  Well to answer your question yes/no depending on how much you use and how much you know and yoru diet also plays a role, roids isn't a miracle worker.  I personally use it and I am very knowledgeable and I regularly get blood work done.
Peace

Tell me those guys are 6'4" and I'll be impressed.  In all actuality, give me any dude under 5'7" with a mesomorphic phenotype, let him eat everything in sight, workout hard, take just a small amount of gear, and he'll look just like that.

It's called being short and stocky.  I've yet to see many tall bodybuilders look that good even using shitloads of gear.  Ferrigno, Arnie, etc all had shitty skinny legs.

LOL yeah, this coming from a doormat who needed/needs Winstrol and Deca to feel like a man.  ;) But then again, what would you expect from a gay photog? Any mutt who fritters away his dollars on garbage like that shouldn't be permitted to be left alive. Haha, and you're not even a pro; talk about being a giant ASS.  ;D

Flex is a great guy, very humble and eager to learn. He has had an article in Flex magazine already, shot in Milos' gym,  and hes not even a pro. He won the British Jrs title at 20 ans could have easily taken the whole show if he had entered the seniors. He was that good and his potential is phenomenal. If he realises it, then he will be the most successful European since dorian IMO

This Lewis character is very good but it does not say much about the standard of British bodybuilding if he is good enough to win the overall at this stage.   The standard is woeful compared to the late 80s and early 90s.  None of these guys should be awarded pro cards.  I agree that Lewis is good though and should be able to compete fairly successfully as a pro in a few years.

the UK BBing scene is at an all time low - much like HW boxing. When you see piss pots like Simon Cohen getting a pro card it makes you wonder what the fuck for. Zac Kahn is my pick for the future, if only he brought up his legs slightly and worked on condition. Another 10lbs and hed be great. Stuart Core is fukkin massive and has alot of potential and hes very young also with 23" arms!

Zak would have made an impact by now if he was going to.  He looked better 3-4 years ago.   He never manages to get in pristine condition and that will only become more of a problem as he gets older plus I don't think his shape is quite good enough to be a good pro.   Flex is certainly the best prospect, whether he can get the necessary size to be competitive remains to be seen.

i agree with the Flex comments, but theres still a couple of years left for Zack to make the desired impact. All he needs to do is train under an established guru, listen to the advice and go for it - thats if he wants to though. His arms and traps are incredible
