Blood test results after about 4 years of blast/cruise
« on: August 07, 2014, 07:37:15 AM »
I like reading what other people experience after using that shit for some time so here are some info from me.
I've used to take some basic BTs, this time I decided to take a very extensive test for a wide range of blood factors. Been blasting-cruising for the past 3,5-4 years. Prop + Tren for the last three months or so (300-400prop, 300-400 tren).

The results just've came in.

Most of the regular and exotic stuff is in a normal range.

The bad stuff:

low HDL (but LDL and total cholesterol low too, far from a high end of a scale)

Trombocytes (platelets) - above the normal range by quite a margin. (haven't been taking aspirin for the last few months)

Almost every marker related to hemoglobin is out of whack. This one is the strangest. I'm anemic by these values (here comes the reason of my constant lethargy). Tren is known to shoot these through the roof and basically any anabolic steroid elevates these values, so it's interesting. But... I've been prone to anemia from an early childhood, so most likely this is genetic and not related to juice. I will be working to bring these up. (where's that anti-heme iron fella?  ::) )

What else...

AST and ALT a little bit over the norm, but GGT very low, so no reason to worry.

Take it for what it's worth.

I am. That's why I will take some throughout cardio tests in comming months. My guess is that may be a genetic predisposition too to quite a degree. Heart dissease is completely absent in my family history so enlargement is actually the only thing I'm concerned about. Quite over a decade of heavy lifting and about 4 years of juicing. I should have at least an "athletes heart" after this. It will be interesting to find out.

Fixed.

But no. And even nurse wasn't all that hot to be honest (like the one who crossed the corridor while I was waiting..  a real porn star look).

I've been feeling fatigued lately and have also not been eating a lot of meet (that damned heme-iron), maybe this is the source.

Like a bodybuilder I've been combating the symptoms with another drug (caffeine).

What's the plan of attack for you now? Have some time off and start again or off for good?

I will keep in check the platelets with aspirin or other similarly acting drug, will increase my intake of Omega-3 even more (to bring up the HDL) and maybe some other nutritients related to increasing HDL (but's it's not that low anyway. Due to my inheritance I'm very resistant to any kind of serious cholesterol complications. No heart dissease history in a family as I've said before).
What else... iron deficiency is hardly related to hormones, I will take a through out analysis of what approach it'd be best to take (I'm deeply into a medicine science as a hobby so I know quite a lot). The autumn will come, I'll leave just 300test for a few months at least, as usualy. Will repeat BT in that time to check for differences in HDL and iron levels.

Animal fats are nothing to worry about. Esp. from grass fed animals (more Omega-3). My diet is close to perfect actually, I'm very health conscious. No alcohol, no smoking, no drugs (aside hormones), no fried food, no processed food, mostly chicken breast, vegetables, some grain products, vegetables, dairy, fruits... BUT - fish is on a low end. This I will increase considerably (only supplementing omega-3 is not enough apparently). More beef too (for iron. Fuck I still can't believe hormones did not increase my hemoglobin.).

Did you have a baseline to compare against 4 years ago?  Hard to say what gear had an affect on if you don't have a baseline pre-cycle

Unfortunately I don't. But I know that I've been anemic from a childhood, and that varied through the years, it seems it's still the same. Never took a serious approach to cure that. Will do it now, constant sleepyness is not nice. Other values - I can only do some adjustments and recheck after some time to see where it goes in the future. Overall the results are pretty good (considering that they include over 40 different markers) and I expected worse.

You gtfo of here with your scientific method.

Who needs baselines to determine actual change? Pffft.

That's my point.  Those 60 minutes or news stories blasting gear saying how it fucks up kids yet they have no proof that kid was 100% healthy to begin with before they started gear.  That story about a teen who commited suicide and how the folks were blaming steroids is lame.
