If you want to look like a hobo grow a beard.
Although if you look like 'beaker' from Sesame Street a beard is essential.

Whenever your girlfriend says no, it means you must do the opposite to whatever she has said no to.  I have had a beard for years, used to rock the bushranger for a while but I have trimmed it back a bit now.  Women say they hate it and so did my ex, but every time I banged her she would always rub her hands through my beard and talk about how much she loved it.  Whenever I was around, she stopped telling others publicly she hated my beard because I would tell that story every time about how hot she would get over my beard when things got intimate.  The feminist in them resents it, as it represents masculinity and male dominance, the slutty whore in her loves them.

Beta male right there.  I could just see you hanging from a womans skirt accomodating her every whim.  And for the record I just left a woman after ten years, my decision.  She wants me back, I want to be on my own.  I am single and very happy.

Do you really want to grow it or not?  You're only thinking about it. If you really want it and it's worth fighting for, then do it. If you're not passionate about it and your gf for whatever reason is strongly opposed to it, then don't  it. But read below.

Don't let anyone make ultimatums to you. Thats a slippery slope. Once she figures out she can make you do what she wants, its all down hill from there.

funny how women feel entitled to tell a man he should shave his beard as if it is there right to do so. Would a man casually say you should shed 30lbs?

Any man in a relationship with a woman who just dictates how its going to be doesnt value the opinion or respect his partner.

I just keep mine trimmed to 1/8" year round. It's more than "stubble", but it stays neater.

Spoken like a true feminist.  Why would I value the opinion of a woman?  You obviously haven't spoken to one lately.  Most of their opinions are nonsense.  I am a man, what possible relevant advice could a woman offer me?

What type of make-up do you use to cover up your womans thumb print on your forehead?

Have you even had one before? Do you think that you'll look objectively "better" with one?

The wife didn't want me to wear one either, but that's not the way it went down. When she gave me grief about it, I shaved it into a Hulk Hogan handlebar for a few weeks and she STFU.

I kinda dug that look. It does say "I do not give a fuck"

Aj dominating nz in this thread.

I am not trying to do anything. A neat beard can be very conducive to a professional environment. Of course, with the changes that I have brought in software development practices, design, delivery and data center modernization, the CEO wouldn't give a fuck if I showed up with a beard to my knees. Plus, engineers have a certain cachet to maintain.

No one asked for your life story mate.

Maybe you'd be more at home on the ladies board.
