Good for Victor!

It's been a while since Victor won a show. I'm glad he delivered.

While Victor still has the same trainer (Victor Muñoz) and a good prep-guru, the years of injuries and cycling of steroids have taken their toll.

He did suffer from a torn ACL and a fractured right arm, but those injuries aside, I think Vic should look into other ventures within the bodybuilding industry.

His true prime was between 2003-2007. Past that point, he has never looked the same and he knows it. I think the bigger issue stems from the fact that Victor tried other approaches to making money in this industry (Victor's Gym, The Muscle Maker Grill etc.) and now he is probably trying to determine what is going to work best for him moving forward.

Believe it or not (although this is going to sound absolutely crazy to most of you), I think Victor can actually open up a phenomenal gym. So as long as he doesn't partner up with any girlfriends to co-own/run/manage the gym with, he can potentially do something worthwhile. Not many know what truly went down with Victor's Gym. I was there and saw it open its doors and was consequently there on the same day when the gates were brought down midway through a Friday evening. Clearly, he would need a lesson or two in running a business and someone to properly manage his finances for the business, but finances/accounting aside, he knows what an awesome looking gym should look like. He also has many good friends that are personal trainers and designers that can help establish an amazing workout complex.

Lesson to be learned: "Never open a business under your name, yet have a silent investor calling all the shots"...

U also gotta consider 2007 is also 7 years ago!!

That's a long time , plus Vic is no dexter

If Martinez hadn't blown his knee in 2008, Dexter Jackson may not have that Sandow on his mantle.

Victor may not look as good as he did in 2007. It could be he's not in as good a condition, or it might be bad lighting and any number of other reasons. He is in a whole lot better condition than I am, so I am not going to rag on him.

Victor looked smaller and less full, but still one of the 10 best bodybuilders in the world.  If Victor can come in perfect form, he can still be top 5 Olympia. Its too bad he got screwed out of an Olympia victory(the worst screwjob outside of Franco).

Put the ego back in its box and train smarter then.

I don't compete anymore so my ego is well in check.

serious question:

If they will give an IFBB pro show to a 2x convict, then why won't they give the Olympia to a grapefruit fucker? Let's see what happens at the Olympia this year...

From the pic legs are gone, body looks tired from years of abuse, oil everywhere, insulin and GH really ruined bbing

2007 Vic was the best but overall he looked the best like many others when he turned pro

Funny most competitors look their best when they are amat

When they turn pro the overuse of drugs is very apparent

Early signs of palumboism are showing too.
