Franco had horrible gyno that year, but Platz looks the best there to be honest. Not taking anything away from Danny.

Wow....I can't believe how platz legs r supposed to be the best ever but from the rear if I compare his hams in the pic above to the new guys like say heath or kai in the same relaxed pose there hams look bigger and more complete. Strange

1981 Danny was under 170lbs I believe. This is when he competed at over 200lbs.

All those claiming that Tom Platz was only upper body just have to look at these pics. His arms and chest DESTROYED Franco's in 1980. Platz truly was in AMAZING shape in 1981. The best of his career. He and Padilla were light years better than Franco that year.
