It's an interesting experiment here, but I think doomed. Shizzo and I were discussing it via PM and although I initially thought that the idea might have merit, I realize that getbig is not really like other boards. The OP here is probably trying to start some shit, rather than have a serious, sober conversation. If the OP is attacking another member, he can selectively delete any responses that disagree with his contention that the person he is attacking is undeserving of the attack.

For instance, Shizzo started a thread about me entitled "AJ has missile tits" and had a go with me. All fun and games, but he could have selectively edited the thread to make me look a lot stupider than I did (it's not easy to look "smart" defending your missile tits).

It will also spawn a lot of revenge threads with a new OP with in-thread mod powers. Strangely, Shizzo and BigMC appear to be of the same mind here.

It's an experiment and should be let to run its course.

BTW, this does NOT appear to be the behavior in G&O, so this "feature" can be enabled/disabled on a board-by-board basis.
