So? Chris was in a different line up, so everything is relative.

Still doesn't explain branch beating pretty much all the top guys at the 2009 O

His genetics is so so to poor compared to the competition

My point still stands that his genetics still enabled him to win contests and place top 5 at the O over superior genetically gifted builds

Proof u can turn pro with poor genetics

And branch is proof u can win shows and place top 2 at the O with poor genetics
branch has excellent genetics but he's busy CEOing and hunting to put it all together at times

Many of Branch' wins as a pro aren't deserved, but my point is that his current look is rather the result of other factors than poor genetics.

In the article he claims that his kidney problems are due to high blood pressure that runs on his family, aka his health problems are hereditary  ::)

sooo

ever consider stopping bodybuilding?

the steroids

the protein

the blood pressure from lifting weights

all these factors bust your kidneys

I did get a kidney check up not too long ago, everything came back good and will follow up.

Cholesterol should also be monitored as if you have consistently high values you are pretty much heading towards clogged arteries sooner or later...I'm not one of those live strong die young bull shitters, I want to be healthy in my 60's and 70's.

I don't use high doses and I don't eat too much protein...I also have breaks where I don't train rigorously and come off completely. Although kidney damage is not reversible, I would never take anywhere neatr a gram, my bp is always within range and my protein intake never exceeds 200 a day.

Cholesterol levels, liver function, kidney function, -very important- blood pressure and maybe your heart rate.
Doctors aren't spies, so there's no reason to hide things. Tell him/her about your cycle (compounds, dosages & period).

LOL, good question. I'm not sure if blood labs offer services for individuals. Call them and you know.

TBH I don't even tell my doctors Im on anything....I have life insurances and critical illness and private medicals...etc all of which would rendered void with these revelations....I'm not like the trainer at 250lbs 8%bf so for the untrained eye so it's not obvious.

I come off everything, wait two months then do a test, this way I know exactly where I stand.

I have a BP machine at home...you can buy accurate ones for 40 quid and so on....if it's high there's a lot you can do yourself to bring it down immediately, mostly diet related.

We don't know if it will work...Don Long's first kidney didn't work and went back on the heavy ass dialysis machine.

Physicians have the duty of medical secrecy, but there's no need to explain things in case you know exactly which tests you need and he/she isn't asking for your motivation. I guess this policy differs from doc to doc and from country to country.

Pretty smart strategy you follow. I remember that Galeniko had a similar approach.

In the UK as we have free NHS, everyone has a medical file, doctors put all notes of all consultations on there. If I say I took steroids and want to check this or that or if I go in with high BP or liver values...etc and admit to AAS it will go on the medical file.

When you sign up for insurance you must consent to their access to this otherwise you won't get it.
