Now I could have fucking told you that myself. It was so obvious Chase wouldn't have killed him off in case they ever decided on a 7th series but some spastics at the time were theorizing Tony died  ::)

Anyway David Chase confirmed a few months ago that Tony never died. He done a Shizzo or sorts basically. Can't be bothered to find the link Google yourself you lazy swines.

The fucking irony is that while legend of Tony lives on (as confirmed by Chase) James Gandolfi died (PIP)

This is the real fucking tragedy of the situation.

LMAO!!!

They probably got that story line off of GB. Fake your own death, then move on.

Unfortunately the actor playing him died after gorging on deep-fried crispy prawns and foie gras. For all intents and purposes he did died now even if he did not died at the diner.

I found that Silvio overacted and I found the Dr Melfi character and all her scenes bored me.

Still, greatest ever TV series of all time when taken as a whole.... imo.

I know Chase said it,  but if you read the pages of friggen dissection. He's dead. Sparing you the entire thing.... Tony glances at everybody coming in. His wife, Anthony, black couple etc etc....when Meadow comes in he does the same and then it ends. Its his POV...he gets popped by the guy in the members only jacket and the screen goes black. They cut this down for pages and explain everything but that's the bottom line.

Tony (Gandolfini) powered that vehicle. They could have built a new series around him in almost any situation - down on his luck or head of a rebuilt crime family - and made it work.

It could go either way. Depends on which way the wind was blowing. That he says now Tony didn't die really doesn't change much

would have loved to see a show where he moves to LA and is a nobody, down on his luck, rebuilding.   cast and his family were dreadfully boring.

they could have had both... he gets shot in head by bad guy but survives, moves away, rehab, and rebuild.

Would love to have seen that. Shame that Gandolfini was such a reckless permabulker.

It fucking changes everything man.

It means somewhere out there Tony lives.

The legend lives. He was not only truly made guy and untouchable but is now forever fucking immortal.

Like Shakespeare or John Keats.

Yeah I guess you're right

What father allows:

His only daughter to lose her virginity to a black, limp wristed, punk boyfriend from CA.
Punk boyfriend tells her that she and her family are inferior to his family.
Punk boyfriend makes fun of Tony and family for being uneducated goombas.
Punk boyfriend makes fun of Tony for being lame small-time criminal.

And Tony Soprano never did shit to Meadow's feminine little boyfriend. You fellows need a new idol.

Yes, it's his POV  of him always looking over his shoulder.  It was just another day in his life in the life.
