I took the alpha thing overboard. There were several times where she tried to reach out to me and I wasn't there for her. When she would complain or bitch I pretty much told her nobody is making her stay and the door is right there. She used to tell me she  hurt by the fact that I could let her leave  so easily. She texted me pictures of her crying on several occasions from fights we got into. The past three weeks I was feeling really guilty and I tried everything to save our relationship but I can't help but feel like she was cheating on me to get back at me for the pain I caused her.
