pre workout supps - anyone experience this?
« on: October 13, 2014, 08:57:43 AM »
when I take a pre workout it's cause I'm feeling lazy and need a boost too get my ass in gear

lately I find it that at the point when the I should just be getting ramped up for my session- abt 45 min after the pre workout (typically c4) I find the exact thing happens- I get lazier. lol

wtf how is this possible. it's like it saps any drive I had to train to begin with let alone not giving me the boost I need to hit it.

I find this curious and am wondering if this happens to anyone else. I should use a burner instead of a pre workout but am kinda sensitive to stims so I don't use them much it much other than caffeine (coffee) which I might abuse somewhat at times. :D

All pre workout supps turn into crutches eventually.  This is what you are experiencing.

These things do NOT "burn" fat.  That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Best to stay away from this garbage.

I down mine and train straight away. By the time I'm warmed up and have done a couple of sets I'm getting full.

Maybe you're waiting too long?

I said I should use a burner for energy. not a pwo supp. and I don't use it enough for it to be a 'crutch'

I was asking of anyone experiences the energy/ motivation dump I'm referring to after ingesting a pwo.

do you have voices in your head telling you I use it to 'burn fat'?

actually did you read any of my post? lol

You are a lazy fuck who does not have the hardcore mentality to train with heavy weights, anyhow try his if this does not get you amped up then nothing will.

I will try this Ty.

this is so weird. the exact opposite thing happens w a pwo lately that you expect to have happen.

I'd get nothing happening. that's attenuation. this is an opposite impact. very odd. lol

Must be fuckin horrible.
Mountain Dew has around 120 g sugar in 1 liter and as far as I can remember more coffeine than cola.
Next time try Tullamore Dew  ;D

I was buying ingredients separately and mixing my own pre-workouts. I don't really think I need the beta alanine and citrulline (sp?). I just pop a couple of caffeine pills thirty minutes prior when I'm feeling tired.
