It's dangerous to go to war. You might end up with an amputated arm or in a wheelchair.

Or rather, you lose an amputated arm don't you?

maybe he will die from it - then folks can talk about how he had whatever killed him( kidney failure, heart disease etc) in his genes...

Steroids significantly weaken connective tissue and thereby increase the chance of muscle tears whose damage is permanent & irreversible.

I've also wondered about this. No matter how hard and heavy, or for how long you lift weights, if you are effectively a blow up doll with most of your muscle 'mass' coming from hormones/peptides your connective tissue and tendons will never be as 'strong' as your inflated muscles. Sure you will be able to bench 4 plates a side because of the sheer size of your glycogen filled pecs, but when 400 pounds is pulling on much smaller areas such as tie-ins and tendons it will give eventually.

Obviously form plays a big part, and a lot of tears shouldn't have happened, but it does make you wonder.

I don't think its the steroids that weaken connective tissue, but the increase in muscle strength that overpowers connective tissue strength. What I mean is, you naturally have joint/ligament strength of 5 and muscular strength of 3 (these numbers mean nothing, I'm just trying to make a point). Then you start lifting weights and muscle strength goes up to 5, so now your joints and muscles are "equally as strong". Then you start juicing and muscle strength goes up to 8 or 10 and now the joints/ligaments are lagging, even though they haven't gotten weaker, they're still at strength level 5. But because the muscle is now at a 10 it will overpower joint strength and eventually "win".

... said he was benching 600 ...

Levrone, fully gassed, is a STRONG presser, but at no time has he been able to bench six hundred. Five for several, sure. Six? Nope.

Nope highly doubt he could bench 6 plates even at his strongest. Very strong but 600 pounds for reps is nonsense

Kevin lies a lot, claims 5'11 with 24 inch arms, go figure

Good bber and his training vids on chest is one of the best of all the pros
