I went to drag a guy out of a car once, he backed up about 15 yards, pinned it and ran me over. I went over the hood, the windshield, the roof and the trunk and landed on the ground. Not a scratch. I got charged with assault and threatening and he got nothing because I had, ohhh lets say some prior encounters with the police 
Yeah, it sucks when you have a reputation with the police. Fortunately, I've led a pretty mellow life, sans the police for the most part. I did have a cop give me a traffic ticket onetime that wasn't warranted. I took it to traffic court. I even attempted to straighten it out with the cop before the court hearing and he wasn't interested in talking to me about it. In Oregon, the cop takes the stand first. He explained why he gave me the ticket and the judge threw it out before I had a chance to counter this imbecile's argument. I hope I never see that cop again. He was a peacock, a jerk, and obviously a dumb fuck.
