At first eggwhites like Rocky Balboa

First protein powder was `AS Arnold Schwarzeneggers Aminovit`.

Mike Mentzer wrote in his Heavy Duty Book that he drank lots of `Chrash Weght Gain No.7`, so did I then.

Yes, it was from weider, but I couldn`t find the original old can on the net and I didn`t save any of them.
Thats why I posted the pic, thought its better than none.
They also recommended it for women. I guess Thats Betty Weider on the old commercial with the original can from Weider..
Mike Mentzer wrote he took tons of it. As far as I remember, he wrote his weight was at the age of 17 about 113 kg and he could do squats with 270 kg. Its a while ago since I read the manuals of him, so don`t nail me on it. Maybe he was just doing Weider a favor.
I started with with running, but I were skinny and wanted to ``get bigger``When I stopped running and changed to weightlifting this stuff gave me good gains. I went up from 140 pounds to 170 pounds in 1 year, of course not all lean muscle, but people could see that I lift.
I trained at home with dumbbells first, at that time there were no gyms in my town. Took Crash Weight Gain it day in day out. Taking this stuff today in the same amounts, it would give me a ton of fat. Looks like the body burns much more calories when youre young.

thats cool u made them great gains in a short period,u r right though about if we took that stuff now we gain mostly fat cause like u said r metabolisms r smoking at that young age.im not saying the stuff u where taking from weider was total junk but i think most of your gains came from u stopping running and using weights more. to b honest i think menzter was just kissing weiders ass buy saying that in his manuals,i ordered the heavy duty manuals back in 78-79 or so and remember reading something about that,i was using the MLO protien though cause my buddy got it real cheap back then. i did read somewhere though that weiders products back in the early 80,s where found to be loaded with suger, and didnt have pretty much nothing in it they said was supposed to b in it.i did use weider products back then once in awhile also so i prolly got ripped off and didnt even know it :-[

that was the main reason, think youre right. of course CWG No.7 had lots of sugar. the guy in the shop told me to eat more mashed potatoes and stuff like that, honest guy, wanting not to ripp me off, but I was somewhat obsessed with all the commercials in the magazines and bodybuilding books. Knowledge came much later when training in an olympic weightlifting and powerlifting gym. It was cheaper than joining a real gym and lots of professionals trained there. Maybe you heard about Hans-Otto Woehrle, he is in the Guiness Book of records, stepping up a ladder with 360 kg bricks in a tub on his back. I guess most of us were ripped off in the past with crappy products, but like you see in my case, I wanted it that way  ;)

At what doses did you run Deca, Rob?

THE BEEF

My experience with DECA (as well as all other steroids) has been limited to reading about them on getbig.  I always said once I was 35, I'd totally get on HRT, but no dropoff, I look better now than I did ten years ago, so no HRT til I'm 45.

The big advertising campaign for HMB at the time was Bill Philips saying "Feels Like Deca!"

Inject, train and eat a balanced diet. Legal supplements, by and large, don't do shit unless we are talking about vitamin/mineral deficiencies. Even in those cases first priority should be to cover your bases with food.

Aside from regular vitamins/minerals -

My mom use to buy -

.

Very basic Protein/carb thing that I'd have before school, I can't find the old container, but these were similar. Remember the name though.

First teenage stack was -

.

Not bad.

Also, original Phosphagain which was awful only vanilla flavored stuff that salty, and came in giant mashed potato flake type tin cans.

And

.

Which were really good.

All the stuff was bought on a fresh -

.

That I got for my birthday.
Used to buy both those bars back in the day. Can't forget Hoffman " Club Sandwiches " they were great.
