With all due respect, you are half correct.  I don't train, nor go to the gym. As this comes up each year, I am not nor want to be a bodybuilder, not have been.  I am a fan of bodybuilding, and have been for years.  I am 6'1" and weigh about 250 pounds.

Now, that being said, I am not like I was 10 or 20 years ago, where in one day, we could go and climb Mt. Whitney from where we park the cars all the way to the top. Or hike down the Grand Canyon to the Colorado River and hike back up. Or go above the tree line up in Kings Canyon and Sequioya National park where you can actually see the Milky Way in the sky.  All this with a 60 pound backpack on your back.

Even today, we still go hiking up in the local mountains here when I have time.  That being the question - time.  With working alot, balancing a family, and going to close to 30+ shows a year, it isnt as easy. Still, not an excuse.

Come back to me in 20 years after your arrogance of youth goes away and lets talk... that is, if you can keep up with me on my routine, which most likely you probably can't.

Or better yet... go to California, get a 60 pound backpack, climb Mt. Whitney in one day and then lets took if you could accomplish the things we did when we were younger. Oh... don't forget your permit or the ranger might fine you...

With all due respect, in 20 years you will be using a walking rack if your obesity has allowed you to make it that far.

Yes but why is he so out of shape? Someone this out of shape should not be putting olympians on the spot like he did to David Henry.

An account on thin ice does not simply call out the leader of Getbig.

You must have a delete wish.

I just think it was pretty inappropriate for an obese man to call out David Henry live at the Olympica Conference.

With all the stupid questions Ron simply doesn't have the time to build his body to the extreme any more.
At least this guarantees that there are some women left for the rest of us mortals. Pretty annoying to watch the Don usurp all A+ pussy globally.

This brutal ass lickery may yield a blue star...  :D

Fat? Not really.  Overweight... yes.  That is my problem.  Slowly working on it! But thanks for you concern.  Hopefully, by the Arnold Classic, I will be down 20 pounds, and still eating my orange chicken!  Had a great day today hiking up in Castle Peak area out here!   Ask me against when I fly out to Ohio how I have been doing!

Being the head of getbig he should at least go for the health look.

Why. Was Cus D'Amato a world championship boxer? Did Arthur Jones ever have a stage worthy physique. How many people that watch the UFC can actually fight?

Ron is a photographer that happens to work in the bodybuilding industry.

We tend to want to do things in life that give us joy and pleasure. We train because it makes us look and feel better. It enhances our quality of life. But not everybody feels that way. Some prefer to other things with their life after work than walk on a threadmill or pick up and put down weights.

As long as you're not hurting anybody or infringing on their rights just live and let live. If there was a requirement that Ron be in shape to start a board like getbig we would never have this unique board. In fact, we's lose about 90% of our members.

As OMR so aptly put it, "It's not just a bodybuilding board. It's an everything board." One can easily become addicted to this board without being interested in bodybuilding or to have ever picked up a weight in their life. Look at Shizzo.

Arthur Jones had a very good build. Why are you defending Ron's obesity?

If you indeed lost your son as you stated you did,you lost your mind also. Because you're a mess since you've switched to this gimmick. It's only a matter of time before someone exposes you, meaning posts pictures of your beautiful mug and you leave the land of Getbig in shame forever more.
So chill out and eat a Snickers. You're acting like a bikini competitor.

The story how Getbig became a dominant bodybuilding forum is an interesting one. Many have tried but few have been successful.

That a non-bodybuilder is successful means that he must be doing something right over the years. He is obviously well connected

in the industry and is smarter than most people.

Judges at weightlifting competitions are fat clueless bastards who are usually drunk after mid competition break. Guessing bb is the same.
