Question on sand bags.

Probably been posted on the Y before but I'm to lazy to look :)
what do you guys use? I'm looking for something that's not so expensive and can hold 40-60lbs that I can put over my shoulders for training.

That's the kind you want. I work w/ combat engineers and we have the newer ones that are plastic type. They split when you drop them.

Hmm, I was looking for something with handles....want to use it on trails in the woods.

Grab the goruck sandbag.

Multiple handles, unbreakable, and it has two removable velcro sand bladders that don't leak.

I have the 80lb vesion, but the 60 is on sale right now:

Just buy sandbox sand from Home Depot.

Seriously buy that thing though before it's not on sale.

Did you wear compression shorts?....reading they are a big help
I'm thinking 3/4 compression pants to protect my knees {I know, no way this doesn't sound homo :-\}


....I usually just run in a bathing suit and trainers.

The USMC is always pushing us to do these Spartan this, mudder that, warrior stuff. After doing the Crucible I would never ever ever want to do anything remotely like those things.

That stuff is not hard.    Tm Spartan and wearrior dash are fun events Not that hard
